Honey Woman is a Robot Master from the conceptual stages of Mega Man 9. She was intended to be the first female boss character in the series, but after the idea of Splash Woman was formed, Honey Woman was reworked and redesigned into the male Hornet Man.
Honey Woman is included in the Megamix Engine as a boss, and will therefore be a devkit boss in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3. She also appears as one of the bosses in the Megamix Engine's Example Game, in the Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level entries Taking a Dip, Ancient Ziggurat, and Flowers and Thorns, and in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero as the boss of Twilight Terrace.

Battle
Honey Woman will start the battle by flying into the air and shooting three homing bees before floating back down. She will then jump around the room, eventually stopping at either the left or right side. Every three times she repeats this pattern, she will precede the homing bee attack with a bee that flies by and drops a honeycomb, which explodes into a puddle of honey when it hits the ground. If Mega Man makes contact with the puddle, he will be stuck until either the puddle despawns or he wiggles himself free by pressing left and right.
On Hard mode, Honey Woman will shoot four homing bees instead of three, and summon two honeycomb-dropping bees at a time instead of one.

Trivia
- In its final issues, the Archie comic introduced Vesper Woman, a Robot Master that repurposed Honey Woman's design (with some differences). She appears in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2 as an NPC in Tier 9, using what would become Honey Woman's sprite. Honey Woman's CD entry in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero implies the two are the same robot.
- Because Honey Woman does not have a proper weapon and stage of her own, the Megamix Engine Example Game bases her stage off of Hornet Man's, and the weapon obtained from defeating her is the Hornet Chaser.
