Make a Good Mega Man Level 2
The Match Blast first appeared as an alternate weapon in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, replacing the Sakugarne. Because the weapon isn't reliant on summoning an external partner, it is able to be used on bosses that otherwise disable the Sakugarne's use, such as Groovity Man.

Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level
The Match Blast returns in Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level as one of the alternate weapons available after beating the game. It is available in the second alternate weapon set, where it replaces the Sakugarne. Its only difference from its appearance in MaGMML2 is that its ammo cost has been halved.
Trivia
- The Match Blast is the only alternate weapon from MaGMML2 to reappear in a later MaGMML production.
