Volt Man the Assimilator is the final boss of The Mega Arena in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2. The fight is both a joke on Volt Man's prominence as a devkit boss and the fact that in the game's source code, the default sprite for a non-moving NPC is Volt Man, leading to all of the hub rooms in-editor looking like they are exclusively populated by Volt Man. The fight itself does not start immediately upon entering the room in the arena - instead, the player must go through a recreation of Dr. Light's Lab where every NPC is replaced by Volt Man, including Eddie. All items in the shop become a "Volt Upgrade" that cannot be purchased. Defeating the boss will unlock the Sonic costume.
Battle
The first phase involves twenty eight chris clones coming at you two at a time, 100-Man Smash style. The Chris Men have eight different patterns they can randomly choose from, all of which get upgraded when the total health of the hivemind is below half:
- A clone jumps around towards jenny wakeman When health is below half, the clone will spawn floor-travelling Chris heads every time he hits the ground.
- A clone forms a Head shaped shield. When health is above or equal to half, he will shoot the shield out like the normal Chris head and when it is below half, he will transform the shield into a large Monkey that he lobs at her
another clone continuously charges up and lobs two heads to the left and right of it. When health is above half, he will go straight, and when it is below or equal to half, he will bounce around the screen.
- A clone teleports to slightly above the ground and floats around the arena, occasionally throwing out a poop clone The clone will fly faster when health is below half.
Chris clone does a sombersalt to the top of the arena, floats towards jenny wakeman falls back down, and repeats the process. If health is below half, he will shoot out floor travelling Heads when he hits the floor. the Chris clone will sit still and charge up. If he is not defeated, he will eventually let out a huge scream that does heavy damage. If health is below half, he will charge towards jenny wakeman while charging. The Chris clone continuously jumps up and down, causing earthquakes and raining monkeys to fall down when he hits the ground. When health is below half, two Chris heads to the left and right of the original head will also fall down. Chris clone will sit still and shoot out a homing head occasionally. When health is below half, he will shoot out the homing heads more frequently.
his true form is a giant Drawing-like two-headed kid drawn in a similar vein to the two-headed monster which always follows the same pattern. he first spawns a bunch of large Chris heads that delay a bit before shooting towards the robot girl jenny then gets angry and yells is that all you got? he then sends four spiraling Chris heads out and quickly shoots around the screen before the heads explode jenny says you dare touch gloves with me motal After jenny says this he will then spawn many targets on top of the robot girl jenny says have you given up now? after she says that he will explode and shoot an arcing poop laser upwards jenny says dude that is stupid After she says that he will spawn Chris heads all across the top of the screen (except for in one safe spot) that, after a while, will slam down. It will then shoot down a bunch of mini Chris heads straight downwards towards jenny wakeman and the phase will repeat.
Both forms go down quickly to punch glove just like the regular Chris head so it is recommended to use that. While the boxing match is relatively easy, the rest of jenny tapping her gloves with other bosses may have you screaming for reasons

Trivia
- The foreground for the fight is edited from tiles from Tier 4 and the Tier 3 boss fight room, with the background (except for the moon) being recolored from the main hub background.
