- "People shouldn't take such gneiss rock for granite. After all, rock is one of the many marbles of the world."
- ―Stone Man, Make a Good Mega Man Level 2
Stone Man is a boss from Mega Man 5. He is a Robot Master built by Dr. Wily who is able to disassemble and reassemble himself, though he has difficulty controlling this and often falls apart in the middle of battle.
He appears in the original Make a Good Mega Man Level as an NPC in Dr. Light's Lab, where he stands next to the teleporter to Tier 5. He also appears in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2 as an NPC in Tier 3.
Stone Man was added as a premade boss in the Megamix Engine, and appears as one of the eight Robot Masters in the engine's Example Game. His inclusion in the engine meant he was also a devkit boss in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level. The latter game was released first, and so he made his debut in the entries Copper Cave and Just a Space Level.

Battle
Stone Man will randomly pick between one of three attacks:
- Create two stones that move outward in a spiral formation.
- Perform a short jump towards Mega Man.
- Perform a large jump towards Mega Man. Stone Man will crumble into a mass of bricks after using this attack, leaving him temporarily invincible until he puts himself back together.
In the Megamix Engine, on Hard Mode Stone Man will create three stones instead of two, and he will summon a Hoohoo every time he lands from a large jump.
