Arcane Man

Arcane Man is a Robot Master from Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, fought at the end of Arcane Man -Chaos Tower- (CERN HQ Remains). He's a mystic science robot created by CERN HQ, with a purpose of researching and collecting data about vanishing particle behavior, not understandable by humans. However, after Dr. Wily reprogrammed him, he goes berserk and becomes even more grim than before, questioning life's meaning. After clearing the Wily Stadium, Arcane Man can be found as an NPC in Tier 13. He also appears as a guide for the Magnet Beam weapon tutorial if the Divine Beam Parallel Weapon is active.
Battle
Arcane Man is a very aggressive boss, who uses swift and unpredictable attacks at random:
- Teleports behind Mega Man and performs either: a close-range, vertical Arcane Slash, or a long-range, horizontal Arcane Slash.
- Teleports behind the Mega Man and tricks him by teleporting once again in front of them and performing either vertical or horizontal slash.
- Spawns a black hole that has a strong pull and blocks projectiles. After a while, he throws it in a rising curve. Occasionally, he can teleport in its place, performing a vertical slash from behind.
Arcane Man can also darken and dash across the room in a sinister manner. He also becomes intagible to any damage. Should this connect with Mega Man, he chokes and drains his energy, tossing him back against a wall afterwards. This attack causes Mega Man to enter a "suppressed state", where for a few seconds, he's unable to switch weapons. Should Arcane Man choke him again and toss behind with no wall to crash, Mega Man will die instantly.
At 13 HP, he ascends upwards, charges energy and releases it in a form of a black-cyan background. Black holes will start spawning from above and fly in the direction of Mega Man. Arcane Man turns invisible and will teleport and walk around, seen only very briefly. Periodically, a huge rift in space, called Kokuuga, will open and will start sucking Mega Man in. Best to quickly leave its range, as once it shuts, it instantly kills.
At 6 HP, the background fades and Arcane Man teleports to the left side of the room. He will now keep releasing black holes that teleport above Mega Man from various spots. Once his health reaches 1, he continues shooting, but now the music stops and he falls down, revealing his original, yellow eyes.

- When killed by the drain choke, Arcane Man will convert the drained energy and assume the form of your current skin.
