- "Nice"
- ―Wood Man Nice, Make a Good Mega Man Level 3
Wood Man Nice is a Robot Master from Make a Good Mega Man Level 3. He’s based on the crudely-drawn version of Wood Man that became a prominent character on SilvaGunner’s YouTube channel - a personification of the “mm2wood” meme, with a sketchier face based on the emoticon part of his catchphrase: “nice >:]”.
He appears in a secret section of Pumpkin Patches as a boss guarding one of the level’s Trickster Tokens. In the postgame, he appears as an NPC in Tier 11.
Battle
For his first phase, Wood Man Nice will just repeat Wood Man’s attack pattern:
- Create a Leaf Shield around himself that blocks most attacks.
- Toss four leaves upward that float slowly down.
- Toss his Leaf Shield at Mega Man.
- Make a short leap in Mega Man’s direction.
- Wait for the leaves to disappear at the bottom of the screen, then repeat.
When he reaches 28 HP, Wood Man Nice changes his pattern:
- He jumps to the side of the arena and throws three seeds that instantly grow into wood spikes when they hit the ground (unless blocked by Water Shield or Royal Guard). These spikes can be destroyed with five points of damage.
- Once the wood spikes have grown, he jumps to Mega Man’s current position, then jumps to one side of the arena and rolls along the ground until he hits the wall on the other side. All remaining wood spikes are destroyed by this move.
- He jumps to the side wall opposite Mega Man, quaking the ground to drop four tree trunks from the ceiling. The first two always fall on the far sides of the arena, while the third and fourth always fall over Mega Man’s current position.
- Finally, he repeats his earlier Leaf Shield pattern once. After the falling leaves disappear, he starts the pattern again.
After defeating him, he can be found in the next room with the Trickster Token. His only dialogue there is “not nice”.

Trivia
- If Wood Man Nice’s Leaf Shield is still active when the second phase begins (through use of a shield-piercing weapon like Laser Trident), it will remain active for his first run of the second phase, getting thrown immediately at the point where he’d normally create one.
