Diabolico is a boss of a Tier X stage HI-R@SE BOTANIX. It's a huge sentient statue that protects the garden stage.

Battle

Diabolico resides in a room with toxic water, 2 platforms and a barricade carrot. It has a set pattern of attacks:

• Creates a black hole of Arcane Man that pulls Mega Man in, while spawning 4 Evil Energy capsules above his current position that shatter into purple waves upon hitting the ground/platforms.
• Summons 3 Beet Tellies and shoots 3 wide spreads of bullets.
• Spawns a set track that 3 Mutant Vines travel along. Diabolico itself shoots a spread of 4 energy orbs that stop-and-track Mega Man, like a Wily Capsule attack. Repeats this 3 times.
• Summons 3 Beet Tellies again and fires off a wave of Thunder Beams, starting from above. It then repeats the pattern.

When its health gets to half, a brief flash occurs. Diabolico now gains a new attack: shoots a random vegetable directly at Mega Man between each of his normal attack.

Other Notes

Trivia

• His sprite is actually a 32-bit sprite of a Baphomet statue ripped from Gate's Laboratory in Mega Man X6.
• Before battle, he seemingly transforms from a huge statue of Guts Man from Rockman Strategy.
