The Greatest Show of All Time is the sixth Wily stage in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, and the final stage of the main story. In it, Mega Man faces against the finalists of the 6th Worldwide Sponsored Robot Tournament and Dr. Wily once again in order to be crowned the champion of the tournament.
Unlike the final fortress stages of the previous mainline MaGMML games, Flashback Database and Reality Core, The Greatest Show of All Time doesn't feature sublevels based directly on entry levels and is mainly focused around boss fights. The entries are instead represented by the weapons used by the rivals in their fights.
Strategy
After a long vertical drop, the level begins with a section similar to the opening of Mega Man 1's first Wily stage, but with Power Musclers instead of Big Eyes. They can be dodged either with decently-timed slides or by gunning it with Rush Bike. After this, Mega Man encounters a teleporter that scans his Energy Elements and grants him passage to the Final Gauntlet. But before he can enter it, Bass destroys the teleporter, enraged over the events of the Awards Ceremony, and must be fought in a 2-phase battle. After his defeat, Bass opens a path as a detour to the Final Gauntlet, telling Mega Man to teach Wily a lesson before vowing revenge and leaving.
The next section is medley of enemies and gimmicks from the previous Wily Stadium levels, with Dr. Wily giving commentary as Mega Man rushes to catch up with the rivals. The section is designed around a fast pace, with a large amount of Conveyors and enemies such as Bag Noises and Waltrioversizeds that will likely hit Mega Man if he tries to take it slow. Pile Drivers can also crush Mega Man if he doesn't pass under them fast enough.
Halfway through, an empty Dracon Ride Armor sits out in the open for Mega Man to enter, which can very quickly defeat the Big Baby Flies on the next screen. The rest of the section is focused around the Dracon Ride Armor's dash, requiring timing it to avoid hazards and using the momentum combined with Conveyors to cross large gaps.
The section ends with a teleporter that leads to a hub of teleporters, alongside infinite health/weapon energy refills in the center. Each one warps Mega Man to a rival battle, preceded by a short corridor showing mugshots of the entry characters their weapons originated from. From left-to-right, the teleporters are ordered as follows:
Once all five are defeated, a door leading upwards opens. After a long ladder climb, Mega Man runs into a dead end, only to be met by Proto Man, who states that they are the last two contestants standing. While he appears to initiate a fight, Proto Man instead uses a Proto Strike to open the path forward to the stadium grounds, leaving Mega Man some Tanks and a Yashichi before teleporting out, wishing him good luck.
Going through the tunnel and onto the pitch, all that remains is the final battle with the Wily Machine SPIRE...
