- "An enemy originating from Guts Man's stage. Will wait to drop its shield, and once it does, it will throw out a pseudo-random amount of arcing pickaxes."
- ―Note in Picket Man's code, Megamix Engine
Picket Man is an enemy from Mega Man 1. It is a humanoid construction robot loosely related to the Metall line that wields a shield and an unlimited supply of pickaxes.
Picket Man was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level contest, where it appeared in the entries Sky Ziggurat and Thunderclyffe Plant, as well as the Final Stage.
Picket Man returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Cardinal Man, Something Original, MegaLondo, Forgotten Fortress, Joe Destruction Co., Volcanic Furnace, and Wily Coaster. It also appears in the Wily stages Unobtainium Mine and Reality Core, the Tier X level Null and Void, and the Pit of Pits mini-stages "Chroma Key?", "Thunderclyffe Plant?", and "Vacuum Seal". A Picket Man also appears as an NPC outside the entrance to the Pit of Pits.

Trivia
- While most enemies in MaGMML games stay accurate to their original appearances, the Megamix Engine changes Picket Man's health from 10 (Its health in Mega Man 1, as well as the first two contests) to 5. This was because its original health amount was high enough that the enemy was criticized when this became apparent in several MaGMML2 levels.
