Sniper Armor is an enemy from Mega Man 2. It is a Returning Sniper Joe in a large mech.
Sniper Armor was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, where it appeared in the entries City War, Chroma Key and Spiky Meltdown, as well as the Wily stages Cannon Deck and Be the Bigger Person (in Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered, it is absent from the latter stage's redesign).
Sniper Armor returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Cardinal Man, Something Original, Chomp Man, Forgotten Fortress, and Crystal Lab. It also appeared in the remake of City War, as well as the Pit of Pits rooms "Boobeak Trap" and "Magic Crash-Pit Ride".

Behavior
Sniper Armors jump straight forward, with brief pauses between jumps. If Mega Man is touching the ground when a Sniper Armor lands, it will shoot a spread of projectiles diagonally downward. Upon defeat, the Returning Sniper Joe piloting the mech will be left behind.

Trivia
- Since the release of the Megamix Engine, Sniper Armor has unique sprites depicting the mech without a rider. These only appear when a Sniper Armor is destroyed with the Slash Claw or Break Dash (in keeping with the appearance of a Returning Sniper Joe after the mech's death).
- In the MaGMML2 devkit and Megamix Engine, Sniper Armor is referred to as "MM2 Mech".
