Arigock G is an enemy from Mega Man 10. It is an antlion robot that spits out spiked balls at enemies.

Arigock G was first made available with the Megamix Engine, and subsequently the devkits for all games created using it. The first to use Arigock G was Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, in the stages Forgotten Fortress: The Lab and Null and Void. It went on to appear in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level in the levels Make a 48 Minute Mega Man Level, Taking a Dip, and Pandora's Parlor.

Arigock G returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, and was used in the entries Fairly Unfocused Newcomer's Bosses And Gimmicks Stage and Irrigation Irritation, in the Contest Weapon Playground, the Tier X level Erm... Watt the Shock!, and the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Dangerous Desert", "Desert Nights", "Detonative Dunes", "Forgotten Fortress MK.II - Entrance", "Green Hill Zone", "Room Eater", "Son of a Biscuit Eater", and "Up Top My Dude".

Behavior

Arigock G attacks by shooting up to four spiked projectiles that arc in the air, alternating from firing them towards the left and the right, and at low and high heights. After finishing its volley, it will rest for a short while before firing another volley.

Arigock Gs have several creation code variables:

  • col - Determines the colour of an Arigock G (0 = red (default), 1 = pink, 2 = blue).
  • init_time - Controls the amount of time an Arigock G waits before firing a volley.
  • shoot_time - Controls how much time passes from one shot to the next.
  • volley_n - Sets the maximum number of shots an Arigock G can fire in a volley.
  • wait_time - Controls how long an Arigock G waits before firing another volley of shots.
  • shot_xspeed - Sets the horizontal speed of an Arigock G's shots.
  • high_shot_yspeed - Sets the maximum yspeed of an Arigock G's shots.
  • low_shot_yspeed - Sets the minimum speed of an Arigock G's shots.
