- "A famous enemy that appears in plenty of levels. It will slowly inch towards Mega Man on a grid pattern."
- ―Note in Telly's code, Megamix Engine
Telly is an enemy from Mega Man 2. It is a small, cylindrical robot that spins as it moves.
Telly was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, where it appeared in the entries Chroma Key, Maze of Death, Thunderclyffe Plant, and Research Facility, as well as the Wily stage Flashback Database.
Telly reappeared in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in twenty entries, four Wily stages, the secret level Twilight Lodge, the Tier X levels So Good and Hardcore Parkour, Null and Void, and nine sublevels in the Pit of Pits; in the latter case, the specific levels it appears in are "Chroma Key?", "Forgotten Fortress", "Game Over - Return of Fire", "Industrious Indignation", "Maze of Death?", "Mt. Furioso", "Rise to the Challenge", "Sheep Obstruction", "Stormy Ascent", and "The Top 10 Most Commonly Used Enemies, In Increasing Order". Surprisingly, the latter level only places it in second. It would become another recurring enemy in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, appearing in six levels total.
Behavior
Tellys will simply float slowly towards Mega Man. Certain levels also have objects that constantly spawn Tellys, and creation code can be used to modify how fast it moves.
