Bombomboy is an enemy from Mega Man 9. It is a tall robot disguised as a plant.
Bombomboy was first made available with the Megamix Engine, and subsequently the devkits for all games created with it. Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level was its debut, where it appeared in the entries Robot Recycling Center, Fortified Base, and Cascade. It returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, and was used in the entries House of Fun, Robogarden, and Glitz Woman; as well as in the Contest Weapon Playground, and the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Fireproof Hero", "Hard Example", "Jungle Wrecker", and "Wizardly Trap".
Behavior
Bombomboy remains idle until Mega Man moves close enough to them, at which point they will jump into the air. At the height of their jump, they shoot two projectiles that drop down in opposite directions.
