<!--'''General ideas for use with "Type"'''<br>
A streamlined list of names for the different types of gimmicks. Place the matching type under "type" when adding this template to a page.
*Damage - A gimmick meant to damage the player when they come in contact with it, sometimes only damaging under certain circumstances. Examples: Elec Blocks (MM1), Quick Lasers (MM2), Needle Man Needles (MM3)
*Destroyable - A gimmick designed to be destroyed with some sort of weapon. Said weapon is usually one of the player's own, but can sometimes be that of an enemy. Examples: Junk Blocks (MM3), Dustman Blocks (MM4), Bokazurah Platforms (MM9)
*Mobility - A gimmick designed to alter the player's mobility, be it their running speed, their jump height, or their sliding ability. Examples: Magnet Machines (MM3), Gravity Flips (MM5), Springs (MM6)
*Platform - A gimmick primarily designed for the player to stand on. Examples: Guts Lifts (MM1), Top Lifts (MM3), Yoku Blocks (General)
*Special Interaction - A gimmick that performs a unique action only when hit by certain objects, usually a specific weapon. Examples: Super Arm Blocks (MM1), Oil (MM6), Napalm (MMIV)
*Switch - A gimmick meant to activate or deactivate something, usually a gimmick of the "Toggled" type. Examples: Levers (MM4), Junk Machines (MM7), Sheep Conveyors (MM10)
*Toggled - A gimmick meant to be activated or deactivated manually, almost always through a gimmick of the "Switch" type. Examples: Switch Blocks (MMPU), Junk Platforms (MM7), Sheep Platforms (MM10)
*Transport - A gimmick meant to take the player to a specific location through special means. Examples: Wave Man Warps (MM5), Skull Elevators (MM8), Galaxy Man Portals (MM9)
*Visual - A gimmick meant to alter what the player sees. Will usually make it harder to see things, but can sometimes be an aesthetic visual change. Examples: Quick Lighting (MM2), Train Shake (MM5), Revealing Tiles (MM7)
Also note that some gimmicks may fit under more than one type. For example, Fork Blocks (MM4) can be stood on, but also create spikes that can hurt the player. This means Fork Blocks are both a Platform type gimmick and a Damage type gimmick.
