Armaroid is an enemy from Mega Man V. It is an armadillo robot built with a sturdy armored shell and guided missiles built to resemble spines.
Armaroid was first made available via the release of the Megamix Engine, and will make its debut in the devkits for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level.
Behavior
At a distance, Armaroid fires a missile from its back, which will relentlessly track Mega Man down. If the missile is destroyed, Armaroid merely fires another. If Mega Man gets too close, it will tuck into its shell and spin rapidly back and forth for a few seconds, turning back from edges to avoid falling off platforms. Whle spinning, it deflects non-piercing weapons.
