Bolton and Nutton are a collective enemy from Mega Man 3. They are a pair of nut and bolt-like robots meant for industrial security.

Bolton and Nutton were first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level contest, where they appeared in the entries Sunset Siege and Glass Man, as well as the Wily stages SnoruntPyro's Stage and the Final Stage.

Bolton and Nutton returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where they appeared in the entries Forgotten Fortress, Holy Crap, Mega Man Can Airslide?, and The Stage Nobody Asked For, as well as the Wily stage Reality Core and the Pit of Pits sub-levels "Citadel Attic", "Flippin' Tops", and "Glass Man?".

Behavior

Neither Bolton nor Nutton can be seen initially; when Mega Man gets close to where they were placed in the editor, the pair will appear; one of them (identified as Nutton starting in the MaGMML2 devkit) enters from the side of the screen, while the other (implied from prior information to be identified as Bolton) appears from thin air. Nutton will slowly screw itself into Bolton's open bolt, and once they have completely joined together they will slowly home in on Mega Man. Bolton and Nutton cannot be damaged by most weapons until assembled.
