"Another one of the early Mets. When Megaman approaches it, it will shoot its bullets, then charge at the player, before stopping and repeating the process again."
―Note in Neo Metall's code, Megamix Engine

Neo Metall is an enemy from Mega Man 2. It is an upgraded Metall with feet.

Neo Metall was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level contest, where it appeared in the entries Midnight Snow and Sunset Siege, as well as the Wily stages SnoruntPyro's Stage and the Final Stage.

Neo Metall returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in nine entries, as well as the Tier X stages Metallic Ocean and So Good, and the Pit of Pits sub-level "The Top 10 Most Commonly Used Enemies, In Increasing Order" (where it is placed as number eight).

Behavior

Neo Metalls will stay hidden under their helmets at first. When Mega Man gets close, it will come out of hiding, fire three projectiles in a spread, then run forward before hiding again.

Trivia
