Numetall is an enemy from Mega Man 10. It is a sluglike Metall that shoots harmless globs of slime at targets.
Numetall was first made available with the Megamix Engine, and subsequently the devkits for all games using it. Its understated MaGMML debut came with Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, in which it briefly appeared in the game's Weapon Tutorials; the same game used it more prominently as an enemy in one of Don Atetemino's mini-stage boxes.
Behavior
Numetall slowly crawls along a flat surface, and will hide under its helmet if threatened. Unlike other Metalls, reflected shots will cause a Numetall's helmet to wobble. After a short time hiding, it will reemerge and shoot a three-way spreadshot of purple slime before resuming its crawling. This slime is incapable of harming Mega Man directly, but if it attaches onto him, it causes him to slide around as if he were walking on ice until it either disappears on its own, or he changes sections.
If a Numetall is flipped upside down in the room editor, it will be able to crawl along ceilings instead of floors.
