Byouz is an enemy from Mega Man V. It is a spring-loaded robot that walks on ceilings and attempts to stab enemies with the spike on its head.
Byouz was first present in the Megamix Engine, and thus appeared in the devkits for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level. It made its debut in the latter game, in the entry Flamecrush Forest.

Behavior
Byouz walks constantly along a ceiling, turning around only when hitting a wall or (unlike in Mega Man V) an edge. If Mega Man is under them, they will jump straight up (down?) towards him in an effort to collide with him before continuing their walk.
How fast Byouz moves and how high (low?) it jumps can be changed with creation code.
