―Note in Doncatch's code, Megamix Engine

Doncatch is an enemy from Mega Man V. It is a small robot with a hammer on its head.

Doncatch was first present in the Megamix Engine, and will thusly appear in the devkits for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level.

Behavior

Doncatch walks towards Mega Man until it gets within a certain distance. Once it does, it stops and strikes the ground with its hammer, scattering four rocks in an arc around it. If Mega Man is below them, he is at risk of the debris landing on him. The condition of the area's gravity also affects that of the rocks; if underwater, for instance, the rocks will have low gravity similar to Mega Man himself. Likewise, increased gravity makes the rocks fall faster.
