The Scorching Duo refers to a pair of bosses, both named Scorch Man. One of them is among the first four bosses that must be fought in the fangame Mega Man Sunrise, while the other is one of six bosses that must be fought in the bootleg game Zook Hero Z.

They both appear in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, collectively serving as the boss of Tier 4, the Train Station. After their defeat, Scorch Man from Mega Man Sunrise can be found as an NPC in the Chateau Chevaleresque, while Scorch Man from Zook Hero Z can be found as an NPC in Tier 7.

Battle

The Scorching Duo starts the battle on opposite sides of the room. They simultaneously shoot projectiles straight forward 6 times, randomly choosing between both standing on the ground or both jumping while doing so. Zook Scorch Man then jumps to the center of the room, and Sunrise Scorch Man jumps straight up twice; each time he jumps, he shoots a giant fireball that leaves behind a stream of smaller fireballs straight up and down, and Zook Scorch Man shoots flames to his left and right each time Sunrise Scorch Man shoots his giant fireball. The duo then swaps positions, and the pattern repeats.

When the Scorching Duo's health reaches 14, they "fuse" together into what is simply the two of them tied together with rope. Their pattern then changes; While floating above Mega Man, Sunrise Scorch Man shoots 7 flames that drop to the ground and linger before disappearing. They then swoop down 3 times, with Zook Scorch Man shooting flames to the left and right each time they touch the ground.
