- "A robot owl that pulls Mega Man towards it with its fan, before pushing him back with its wings."
- ―Note in Fankurow's code, Megamix Engine
Fankurow is an enemy from Mega Man V. It is a bulky robot owl with a fan in its chest, along with wings capable of expelling air outwards.
Fankurow was first available with the release of the Megamix Engine, and is planned to appear as a devkit enemy in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level. Its true debut came with Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, where it appeared in Null and Void.
Contents
Behavior
Fankurows perch completely still, pulling Mega Man towards themselves using their fan for a few seconds. Afterwards, they flap their wings to blow him backwards, before stopping after a while and repeating the cycle. By themselves, Fankurows are of little threat, but their pushing and pulling can be dangerous if there are any hazards (such as spikes) nearby.
