The Fan is a gimmick from Mega Man 6, found in Wind Man's stage. It is a giant fan that can blow Mega Man in the direction it is facing.
Fans were first available in the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, and were used in the entry Chroma Key, as well as the Wily stages Cannon Deck1, Be the Bigger Person1, and Everything's Blowing Up.
Fans returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, and appeared in the entries Airflow Hubble, Chomp Man, and MegaLondo, as well as the secret level Twilight Lodge, the Pit of Pits sublevels "Deja Vu", "Logan's Runner", and "Pipeworks", and in Null and Void.
Behavior
Fans come in four objects, each one pointing in a cardinal direction. When Mega Man moves over them, they blow him away in the direction they face. If a fan is pointed upwards, Mega Man will slowly fall back down after being blown up a certain distance.
