Big Fish is an enemy from Mega Man 2. As its name suggests, it is a gigantic robotic fish.
Big Fish was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, and was used in the entry Maze of Death. In Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered, a Big Fish also appears as an NPC in Tier 5.
In Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, it appears in the levels Cardinal Man and Dragon Lab Lair, as well as the secret level Twilight Lodge, the Wily stage Reality Core, and the Pit of Pits levels "Magic Crash-Pit Ride" and "Labyrinthe Throwback". It went unused in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, but a Big Fish appears as an uninteractable NPC onboard the SS Elroy.
Big Fish returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, and appeared in the entries Not Delivering On Promises and wet, the Weapon Tutorials, and the NEO Pit of Pits sublevel "I Like'em Big, I Like'em Chunco".
Contents
Behavior
Big Fish cannot be seen initially. When Mega Man walks up to its spawn point, it will appear and leap upwards, usually out of a pit. After it falls back down into the pit, the Big Fish will not leap out again.
While it only has 1 HP, Big Fish is immune to the majority of weapons in every MaGMML game. In some games, it is immune to every weapon available, effectively making it invincible.
