Palm Hopper is an enemy from Mega Man V. It is a small frog-like robot that attacks with missiles loaded into its head.
Palm Hopper was first available with the release of the Megamix Engine, and thusly appears in the devkits for all games that use it. Its first appearance in a finished game was in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, where it appears in the levels Scorched Factory and Null and Void. Palm Hopper then went on to make appearances in the Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level entries Footloose and Deep Within the Jungle, and in the same game, they appear as enemies in one of Don Atetemino's mini-level boxes.
Palm Hopper didn't appear in any entries for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, but it was still used in the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Big Maw Meadow", "Hoshi no Rockman", "Mercury Dealer", and "Pyramid Scheme", and the Shrine of Nebula room "PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION!!!!!".
