La Jaba is an enemy from Mega Man V. It is a strange accordian-like robot that moves by jumping.

La Jaba was first available with the release of the Megamix Engine, and subsequently the devkits for all games created with it. The first such game to use La Jaba was Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, where it appeared in Subterranean Stronghold, Surfboard Showdown, and Null and Void. It went on to appear in the Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level entries Untested Rush Job and Outer Excavation. No entries in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 used it, but La Jaba still saw use in the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Extreme Spring Cleaning", "Flip Flop Swap", and "Mercury Dealer".

Behavior

La Jaba merely hops towards Mega Man to attack him, but how high it jumps depends on how close together the two are. At far distances, it makes small hops, but when close enough it will make a higher jump.

With creation code, the height and length of a La Jaba's jumps can be changed.
