Reggae is a minor character in the classic Mega Man series. Built by Dr. Wily as a companion robot, Reggae's primary role in the classic series is to jeer the player for their failures. In Mega Man 10, he is finally given a gameplay function, serving as the shopkeeper in Bass's campaign.
In the MaGMML series, Reggae's role has been fairly minor, only making appearances in two games so far, but having important gameplay functions in both games nonetheless.
MaGMML Series Appearances
Make a Good Mega Man Level 2
Reggae appears as an NPC in Dr. Light's Lab. By talking to him, Mega Man can disable certain upgrades; both those he can buy from Eddie, and those awarded by Knight Man for collecting Noble Nickels.
Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero
Reggae appears in Dr. Wily's Secret Bunker, reprising his role as shopkeeper from Mega Man 10. Notably, he remains in the bunker even after Wily slips into insanity later in the game and everyone else has left, still allowing Zero to buy his wares.
