The Cloud Platform is a gimmick from Mega Man 3, found in Snake Man's stage. It is a platform with a cloud cover that continuously ascends while waving back and forth.

Cloud Platforms were first made available with the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, but went completely unused in the final game.

Cloud Platforms returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, and appeared in the entry Shovel Knight, as well as the Pit of Pits sublevels "Clouded Judgement" and "Mt. Furioso". They also appeared in the Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level entry Air Trick.

Behavior

Cloud Platforms travel upwards, while waving back and forth horizontally if they have the space to do so. They act as top-solid platforms that Mega Man and other entities can ride on.

Trivia

• In the Make a Good Mega Man Level devkit, Cloud Platform was known as "cloud_snakeman", and "objCloudPlatform" in all subsequent devkits.
