"L.E.C" is an enemy from Rockman & Forte: Mirai Kara no Chousensha. It is a bubble-blowing robot modelled after a crab.

L.E.C was first made available with the Megamix Engine, and subsequently the devkits for all games built with it. The first game to use unmodified L.E.Cs was Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, where it appeared in the entries Megatroid and Commando Caverns. For Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, L.E.C went unused in all levels and sublevels, earning it an appearance in the Shrine of Nebula room "Cuts & Scraps".

Behavior

L.E.C sits in place, and periodically blows a giant bubble between its eyes. This bubble travels in one direction along the ground, falling down ladders and through top solids, until it is popped by either spikes or Mega Man's projectiles. If a bubble touches Mega Man, he will become trapped inside it and will move along with it; the only way for him to break free is to attack the bubble from the inside. As long as a bubble exists, the L.E.C that created it won't create any more.

The length of time that an L.E.C waits for before blowing a bubble can be changed by altering the value of the shotMax variable in creation code.
