Mecha Pitchan is an enemy from Mega Man 10. It is a ball pitching robot that comes in two colours, which determines how they throw their baseballs.

Mecha Pitchan was first made available with the Megamix Engine, and subsequently the devkits for all games built with it. Its first appearance in a game was in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, where it appeared in Scorched Factory (with a unique design), Frosty Fields, and Space Jam. It went on to appear in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level in the levels Rocky Blocky Cavern and Pandora's Parlor.

Mecha Pitchan returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, and was used in the entries Hunter Tower and Froggy Gravity, as well as the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Game of Cricket", "GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL!", "Playing Cricket", and "Room Eater".

Behavior

Mecha Pitchans are immobile enemies that throw baseballs at Mega Man, which travel in an upside down arc. Red Mecha Pitchans throw their balls in a way that sends them flying off the top of the screen, but balls thrown by blue Mecha Pitchans will stop mid-flight and manually fly in a straight line targeting Mega Man directly.
