'''Illumina Alpha''' is a gimmick and midboss from ''[[Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero]]'', found in [[Harbige12]]'s room on Floor 6 of [[Null and Void (Episode Zero)|Null and Void]]. It is a giant robot armed with lasers and a weapon similar to [[Bright Man]]'s [[Flash Stopper]], with which it can freeze robots with a burst of bright light.

==Behaviour==
Illumina Alpha remains in the background, and can't be damaged directly. While it doesn't attack [[Zero]] directly at first, it will periodically create a large flash across the screen, telegraphed by Illumina Alpha raising its arms and a "scan" effect appearing on screen. If Zero isn't standing behind a background tile once this flash goes off, Illumina Alpha will teleport him back to the start of the current section. The flash will also cause [[Revealing Tiles]] to be temporarily visible.

At the end of the mini-stage, Zero will find Illumina Alpha's core, and the giant robot will attack Zero directly by firing lasers at him. These lasers create explosions once they reach the foreground, while the core summons [[Tsuranattori]]s to defend itself. Only the flashing red orb will respond to damage, as the rest of the body is invincible. The less HP the core has, the more frequently Illumina Alpha shoots lasers at Zero. By destroying the core, Illumina Alpha will consequently be destroyed.
