'''Ghost Woman''' is a Robot Master designed by neognw for the [[Make a Good Mega Man Robot Master]] contest. Based on the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuki-onna yuki-onna] from Japanese folklore, she was created by Kakigori Co. for two purposes: to regulate temperatures in cold storage warehouses, and to act as a mascot for the company. Originally nicknamed "Yuki", she later adopted the name "Ghost Woman" after watching a children's show about befriending yokai. Mischievous and playful, her repertoire of "Ghost Tricks" she uses to (ineffectually) scare others consists of various illusions combined with her natural ability to create cold mist.

Ghost Woman was submitted for Category C (Legless), but ultimately lost to [[King Man]], coming in second place by a difference of five points. However, in the subsequent People's Choice awards, she would win the Udon Award for "Favorite Design" (defeating Category A winner [[Reel Man]] in the category by 22 points). She also won the vote for the Sakugarne Award for "Best Weapon", but her prior win meant the award went to the runner up, [[Chance Man]].

This victory earned Ghost Woman an appearance in ''[[Make a Good Mega Man Level 3]]'' as a major NPC. In-game, she is the host of the [[Limestone Pagoda]] and acts as a guide for its various amenities. She also directly hosts the [[The Arena#The Judges' Choice Arena|Judges' Choice Arena]], and appears in the rest area between fights to explain the effects of each recovery item. At the entrance of the Pagoda, she can also tell a random short story, with her pool increasing for each successfully cleared arena (excluding the Custom Arena). A condensed version of her submitted biography is among the many stories [[Tako Trash]] is able to tell.

A company robot made for Kakigori Co., an electronics company that specializes in cooling devices and related electronics such as refrigerators, air conditioners, mist machines, computer cooling liquids among others, Kakigori Co. is known to have a chain of cold storage services around the world.

The function of this robot was twofold: to serve in these cold storage warehouses as a temperature regulator (and as such, she was equipped with Cold Mist generation systems) and as a mascot for the company, as such, she was designed to resemble a Yuki Onna (Snow Woman), her creators nicknaming her "Yuki" as a nod to this.

Yuki wasn’t initially Ghost Woman, as she wasn’t equipped with ghost-like abilities, however, one day she saw a children TV show based on befriending youkai that she started taking a liking to her own design and mythological origins.

She then started learning a few tricks (she dubs them "Ghost Tricks") to try to scare people: these include hiding in her own mist to jump scare folks, using mirrors and lights to create illusions, using her own mist as a way to create clones of herself, and condensing her own cold mist to create snowballs (and throw them at people) among other such tricks, this is where she started referring to herself as "Ghost Woman".

While not malicious, she is a bit of a prankster, but since her only reference is said children TV show and her design was made to be a mascot, she never really scares anybody. She will still try to surprise anybody who comes near her "haunted" grounds however.
