Space Crusade is the fourth of the Judge Application Levels. It is themed around the Warhammer 40K series, and has, by creator ACESpark's own admission, a "billion" gimmicks.

Judge Comments
{{JudgeComment3App
pachyscore = 48
pachy =
I don't know anything about the Warhammer series, so all the references are going to be going over my head. Going go.

I find the reskinned Joes to be quite cute, but that and the boss seems to be the extend of the reskinning. I think
there should've been more redrawn enemies to help resemble the franchise you're crossing over with.

Aesthetics aside, this is where the level start to fall apart, sadly. The first screen with enemies, immediately one of
the ladder guys scroll itself off-screen, which is a strange placement by itself. But the catch is on the next screen where
there's an annoyingly-placed Lyric that requires you to jump across the gap right as you enter or else you take damage,
and if you try to reset the room by climbing down, you'll get hit by the climbing enemy.

The Up-and-Downs were introduced in a way that you're gonna get hit without any indications that they're there, it's
not instant-death but still a rather rude introductory, especially after considering the next instance you see them,
you're not gonna bump into them accidentally.

Despite the general poor placements of enemies, I do like the rooms that have the timebombs along with a Cannon Joe and a Fan
Fiend. They feel more puzzle-oriented and not as unfair as the other rooms in the level.

Gimmicks aren't introduced very well either, as in one of the earlier rooms, there were 3 different platforms all introduced at once!
(Over deadly spiky goodness even, and there's one entirely new non-devkit platform.) Right after that, it drops the player into
a "think-fast" situation with the donut block that wasn't introduced beforehand either, so they are likely to die the first time
around. (Also the inclusion of the Joes there are a bit overkill, don't you think?)

You need to make sure to introduce new elements to the player in a safe environment, getting them familiar with the gimmicks
before putting them into action right away. Later on, the blue "horseshoe" platforms are used as deflecting surfaces for
your shots, a property that wasn't clearly conveyed due to the poor introduction.

There's nothing much to say about the boss as it's just the walker enemy with more attacks added in. The spread shot could
be a bit annoying to dodge but it's still manageable. I'd also suggest to tone down the laser damage a bit too perhaps?

All in all, it's a cute little crossover stage that's unfortunately filled with poor design decisions. I suggest to
look more into other people's stage designs or even the official levels, investigate how the difficulty curve for each
stages go.
samarioscore = 73
samario =
So, first off, this is clearly trying to make a reference to something, but... God knows what it is. It's also somewhat irrelevant really, as it wouldn't affect the stage quality.
The stage itself has functional aesthetics, that do look good in some places. The edits to Star Man's tileset do seem to mostly fit with the tileset itself.
The stage's boss, while somewhat just an edit of a Dachone, has enough attacks added to it, in combination with the unique arena, that it is actually fun, and definitely more balanced than the rest of the stage.
Which seems to have a strange fascination with instant death spikes, as almost half of the rooms have instant death spikes in them. The gimmick of the stage, with the falling, reflective platforms, is sound in theory, but is introduced in a dangerous situation, giving little time for the player to react.
m-jacqscore = 43
m-jacq =
The Warhammer theming is cute, but it can’t disguise how this level repeatedly flaunts one the key principles of good level design: don’t introduce two new things at once. The second screen has two new enemies; the third screen has two new enemies AND a new platforming gimmick; the fourth screen has a new enemy type and THREE new platforming gimmicks... et cetera. And even worse, they’re introduced in high-risk situations where pausing to see what this new platform does will most likely kill you.
But not all hope is lost. There were two screens in the level where you had to dodge projectiles/Up-n-Downs while sliding, which I thought were both novel and fun. They felt more like a shmup than regular run-and-gunning, which was apropos giving the spaceship setting. And the boss is cool too: great job making the Star Man miniboss kind of threatening. I just wish you’d spent less time reskinning the level assets and more time using them well.
pkscore = 37
pk =
Putting enemies into spots where you cant kill them isn’t fun…
But lets start from the beginning. One of the first enemies in the level just straight up goes up the ladder and despawns. Why even have it there? Next up we see the Splash Woman blocks…which appear again at the very end of the stage. Could have used them throughout the stage at least. Also, sliding under spikes on a moving platform seems like a harsh spike in difficulty for a gimmick you only used once before. Next up, you throw 4 new gimmicks into my face, with the danger of spikes right below my feet. And wow, those Up n Downs are placed in the most jerkish of positions. Then, you start putting enemies into spots where you either cant hit them for a long part of the screen, or not at all. Now the idea of that isn’t that bad on paper, but you just didn’t pull it off well.
Lastly, we have a boss fight. Im not a fan of the enemy the boss is based off, as I always have had trouble dodging the lasers. Combine that with Centaur Mans bullets, these floor crawling enemies from MM5, and a missle that may as well not exist, and I had quite a bit of trouble at first. Especially because the lasers felt like they did too much damage.
flashscore = 80
flash = This was fun! I'm a sucker for outer space, and the stage lives up to its name. Between the groovy music, the eye-catching blend of space-themed tilesets, the reskinned enemies, and the story element provided by the NPCs, everything works together to create the atmosphere of an exciting space crusade. I could tell that the stage was referencing...something...(I looked it up afterward; it's Warhammer 40K) but the whole experience is crafted in such a way that you don't need to get the reference to appreciate the stage.

I like variety in a stage, and this one has plenty of it—too much for its own good, in fact. On the plus side, most enemies and obstacles are used at least twice, in situations where they have at least a partial opportunity to shine. There's a lot of creativity in the challenges, and nothing feels completely wasted. I love the screen where you're sliding into time bombs with the cannon firing at you, and the screen where you've got to slide under spikes on a Splash platform...and the screen where you're sliding past those dreaded Up'n'Downs is surprisingly not awful, further demonstrating that you have the chops to turn the familiar into something pleasantly different. The boss is a clever synthesis of different bosses and minibosses, and a satisfying end to the stage.

On the minus side, the “sampler platter” approach means that none of these challenges have the chance to be fully developed, which is a right shame. Cutting a handful of foes and hazards would allow more room to explore the potential of the remaining ones, bringing more focus to the level without sacrificing the feeling of variety. In particular, the reskinned falling platforms add nothing to the stage; you’ve already got Shadow platforms and indestructible blocks that could serve the exact same purpose.

Unfortunately, many of the rooms are fairly cramped. This isn’t inherently problematic, as claustrophobia-inducing architecture can allow for some tricky challenges and can add to the character of a stage. In this case, however, some rooms feel tight because the entrance and exit aren’t ideally positioned—take the room before the checkpoint, for example, where all the action is jammed into the top left corner of the screen. Moreover, it’s not uncommon to have a few too many objects on the screen at once, or a complex challenge concentrated into a very small space.

The learning curve on these challenges is fast, but standing perfectly still at the entrance to a screen will usually give enough time to figure out what’s going on. The few exceptions are brutal, however. The introduction to the reskinned falling platforms seems specifically designed as a beginner’s trap, with only the most agile players making it out alive on their first try. The following screen with the reskinned Sniper Joes and Shadow platforms over spikes demands even faster reflexes, and the screen after that surprises you with Up’n’Downs in a place where they’re totally unexpected and impossible to dodge if you’re caught off guard. Part of the problem is making every screen a self-contained challenge; occasional use of camera scrolling would go a long way in giving the player and these challenges enough space to breathe.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed this level. The shortcomings aren’t deal-breakers for me, and almost all of the challenges are individually satisfying, even if there are ways to improve them and the level as a whole. I was promised a space crusade, and by the Emperor, I did not leave disappointed.
Midnight Man is the first level in the Judge Application Levels. Mick Galbani designed the level as a "pretty nothing" level--a level with sound aesthetics, but uninteresting design. As such, it is characterized by its large variety of weak enemies, most of which can be dispatched by a single charged shot from the buster.

Strategy
Use the charged shot and everything dies.

Judge Reviews
{{JudgeComment3App
pachyscore = 33
pachy =
I have to say, this level is, unfortunately, kinda boring and forgettable...

The music feels like it'd fit more for a Wily Stage, or something more dynamic and action-packed.
Although the visual and the settings are overall not bad, it's just a bit heavy on the blue side,
it would definitely benefit from having more diverse palette choices. Another problem arises that the spikes are
also the same color as everything else, making it blend in, which you don't want for a deadly hazard like that.

The stage itself seems a bit lackluster as there are minimal platforming challenges, and the enemies don't really
pose a threat in most rooms, there is only one room in the entire level that is moderately challenging.
I do like that the enemy choices were kept consistent throughout, however.

The room holding the gem is rather cleverly hidden, but the Hot Dog can be tricky to kill without using weapons.
You're also very likely to get hit by the Crazy Cannon on your way back, which can be annoying since it can
knock you right back into the secret room.

The lack of boss at the end makes the whole level feel even shorter and unfinished.
Having a boss, even a default devkit one, would've made the level less lackluster, at the very least.

Overall, it's a rather weak entry. Not terrible, it's functional, but there could've been much more done to it.
Adding some sort of platforming gimmick would really help keep the level from feeling too empty.
samarioscore = 65
samario =
So. The level has rather good pallete and good usage of tilesets, and is *mostly* fair. The really big issue is that it... doesn't really have a focused gimmick? Nothing to build a stage around.
Other minor flaws crop up in what would be "polish" - the diamond path has an enemy that I'm not sure you can actually avoid without using special weapons on the exit, collision errors that allow you to get out of bounds, and a boss corridor that doesn't have a boss associated with it.
Overall it's rather decent.
m-jacqscore = 43
m-jacq =
Logic would dictate that an enemy named “Brain Break” should get *dumber* when you crush its cranium. But only after it’s been stripped of its graduation cap and nerdy spectacles does the Brain Break display any rudimentary AI. Otherwise, the Brain Break is all too happy to plunge to its death, academic credentials in tow: a Roader with a diploma.
I’m guessing you didn’t put Roaders and Brain Breaks in the same stage as a dig at academia, though. In which case, why have two enemies here that fulfill the exact same role? I also don’t know why you have Battons in an open-air environment so they can hit you and then fly up into the stratosphere, or why there’s a miniboss which you can safely snipe from the left end of the screen. Most of the enemies here feel like they were picked at random.
The level’s architecture, on the other hand, is wonderful. You hop from rooftop to rooftop, scale the side of a building, enter that building through the roof, and descend through the inside of the building until you reach the exit. There’s a real contrast between the wide-open outdoors segments and the cramped corridors of the building interior. If the enemy placement here was as deliberate as the platforming, you’d have a pretty good level. As is, though, it’s just OK.
pkscore = 46
pk =
It starts off kinda weirdly, as enemies are just thrown at you without any proper introduction. After you climb the ladder, you have the chance to get a Emerald behind a shotman. This isn’t too bad in itself, but if you go back to the other screen after collecting it, you pretty much get hit by the shotman.
After a miniboss fight with a hotdog on the roof, you drop down and finally get a chance to evaluate the situation of a room in peace (sort of, since the bat will fly at you eventually). After that follow 2 more rooms that give you a chance to see what you have to deal with. Lastly, a nicely introduced Big Eye.
The design is pretty decent in places, but in others, it feels kinda disorganized.
Creativity wasn’t really a high point here, as it is just rooms of basic enemy challenges.
While the graphics fit the midnight theme, they aren’t anything groundbreaking.
In general, I can say that I had moderate fun in this stage. It’s not something I would want to come back to, but its nothing offensive.
flashscore = 54
flash =
This is—and I think we can all agree on this—a level. The name “Midnight Man” conjures up images of what might be in store for the player—at the very least, a boss at the end named Midnight Man. Will there be werewolves to fight under a full moon at midnight? Some darkness- or shadow-oriented gimmick, given how dark it is at midnight? Perhaps a battle on a clock tower as the clock strikes midnight? The heart of a lion and the wings of a bat, BECAUSE IT’S MIDNITE? Why, the possibilities are...not really fleshed out here at all.

The background of the first half of the stage suggests that it is nighttime, and there are bats. This is a good start. In general, the graphics are pretty good; there’s some nice detail in the foregrounds, and the damage-ridden background for the indoors portion (despite being a bit too close in color to the foreground) suggests there might be an interesting story behind this level—especially on the last screen; I want to know what that cool-looking capsule thing is. Unfortunately, the challenges do nothing to bring that story to life.

I applaud that the enemy roster is a reasonable size and that the enemies aren’t placed all willy-nilly. I like the one screen where the dense starfield in the background makes it harder to see the Haehay’s bullets (I hope that was intentional), and I like that the Battons blend into the background for a similar sneakiness (which I also hope was intentional). But that’s about all that stands out as particularly positive about the challenges.

There’s no sense of theme to the enemies, and their placement is often less than ideal—the first Beak you meet should not be on top of the first ladder you find, nor should you hide Beaks behind the health bar. The Shotman guarding the entrance to the secret room (which is satisfyingly well hidden) is all well and good until you realize you’ll practically walk right into him on the way back out. Many enemies can be avoided or dispatched with no risk to the player whatsoever, like the useless Hot Dog near the halfway point. And I’m not sure it’s even possible to avoid damage while fighting the secret Hot Dog with the buster; that is a looooooong string of fireballs. The lack of gimmicks is a letdown, too. The level needs something to make it stand out, and the enemy challenges aren’t novel or complex enough to compensate.

The music is fine; I found it a bit abrasive at first and I’ve already forgotten what it actually sounds like, but it fills the noise void well enough. I didn’t find any technical issues; there was one screen transition at the top of a ladder that could’ve been a little smoother, but that’s a minor thing. Otherwise, there’s not much to say. This level needs a stronger theme and an actual MIDNIGHT MAN to live up to its name.

Maze of Death is the 9th place entry in Make a Good Mega Man Level. The player must navigate several branches of a large maze in order to destroy a series of barriers blocking the exit. Despite a screen count that is only slightly above average (34 screens, some of which are skippable), Maze of Death is widely considered to be the longest submission in the contest due to the amount of backtracking required to destroy every barrier. Maze of Death is also noteworthy for its high level of difficulty (hence the three extra lives next to the level's entrance in the Tier 3 hub), puzzle-oriented challenges, use of player-created shortcuts in lieu of checkpoints, and divisiveness among judges and players alike as a "love it or hate it" level.

Development
Inspired by the movie Cube, Maze of Death was originally intended to be a large, square-shaped grid of interconnected single-screen rooms featuring a wide variety of challenges, with two Energy Elements hidden at different points in the maze. However, it became difficult to maintain a sense of fairness and challenge when the player could enter every room from multiple angles. Additionally, the nature of the maze meant that players could stumble on the exit after just a few screens, resulting in a potentially anticlimactic experience. Roughly halfway though development, the barrier gimmick was introduced to add an element of structure to the level design.

The level was restructured to feature a small "cube" (the nine-screen starting area that had already been designed), a connecting hallway, and a large "cube" where players had to destroy a series of barriers from different angles to reach the exit. When it became apparent that the level no longer resembled a maze, additional paths and shortcuts were added. Checkpoints were deliberately omitted, with the rationale that an ever-growing network of shortcuts would be more useful and satisfying to discover than random respawn points that could somehow backfire in such a nonlinear level.

Maze of Death was constructed specifically with experienced Mega Man players in mind, under the false assumption that players would be able to sample the submitted levels without necessarily needing to beat any of them to reach the end of the game. Flashman85 playtested the finished level extensively, but only one external playtester playtested the level (at a much earlier stage of development).

Strategy
Don't die.

The three keys to surviving Maze of Death are to (1) come prepared with as many extra lives, E-Tanks, W-Tanks, and shop upgrades as possible; (2) approach each challenge like a puzzle to be solved; and (3) use special weapons frequently and creatively. It is not uncommon for a playthrough of this stage to take 15 minutes or more, especially on a first attempt.

Rushing ahead is likely to result in disaster; it is possible and indeed advisable to pause for a moment when entering any new screen, sizing up the situation before proceeding. If the action picks up before you are ready to proceed, it's often possible to retreat to the previous room and then return with a better idea of what to expect. Destroy every barrier you come across (except the ones with spikes directly below them), and try taking different paths around the level to reach barriers you're unable to hit from your current position. Destroying barriers clears a path to the exit, but it also opens shortcuts that will significantly reduce the amount of time and risk required to return to an area you've been before...which is especially important because the only checkpoint in the level is on the other side of the boss door.

Many challenges were designed with a specific special weapon in mind. Metal Blade works well in the underwater corridor with the Sea Mines; Gemini Laser can quickly clear the Big Snakey and Cannon Joe rooms if fired in the right places; Top Spin is ideal for the bouncy room with spawning Dadas; Black Hole Bomb absorbs the randomly scattered bullets in the room with the Quick Man background and is devastating on the screen with the Tellys and Pole Eggs (making that screen an excellent spot to quickly farm for power-ups); and Magic Card is strangely effective against the Power Muscler and Rolling Drills, plus it can be used to collect pre-placed power-ups that are out of reach.

One particular trouble spot is the second half of the underwater corridor, where death spikes are hidden behind Sea Mines. One strategy is to proceed slowly, waiting for the Sea Mines to detonate before pushing forward, and relying on very precise jumping or careful use of Rush Jet to reach the end. Another strategy is to deliberately get hit by the Sea Mines and use the ensuing invincibility frames to race past the spikes. Sliding underneath the last two pairs of spikes is preferable to attempting to jump over them. Be sure to destroy the Magic Card barrier at the end of the corridor, and then slide all the way left to destroy the Magic Card barriers at the start of the corridor, to open a shortcut that will allow you to bypass this challenge if you die and restart at the beginning.

Another trouble spot is the room with the Rolling Drills and the spiked floor. Rush Jet can be used to cross the gap if you're fast and keep moving toward the ceiling. Another option is to use the Rolling Drills as platforms: jump on top of the first three, drop down onto the fourth, and then land on the ground and destroy the next Rolling Drill as it emerges from the wall before sliding to the next screen.

Players have discovered a few ways to "break" the level and bypass major challenges. For example, on the screen with the Guts Man platforms, Rush Coil can be summoned onto the ladder at the bottom of the screen to propel you to the ladder at the top of the screen. Most notably, it is possible to reach the boss door without destroying the Solar Blaze, Metal Blade, or Magic Card barriers that block the tunnel the player is intended to slide through. After destroying the Sheep Man blocks in front of the boss door, the player may climb up to the previous screen, take damage from the Pole or the fire jets, and drop down the ladder and past the spikes while momentarily invincible. Flashman85 swears you weren't able to do that in the devkit.

Skip Status
This level is skippable in Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered due to the length and dedication required to completing it.
pyro = Wow. What an absolutely fantastic level. With a few exceptions (the room with like 5 cannon joes), you can tell that tons of love and care was put into this level, and the level itself is EXTREMELY creative and unique. I LOVE how you used the barriers as ways to connect the whole maze. There were also some REALLY creative rooms built around manipulating your special weapons, and the Black Hole Bomb was definitely used very well here. And I really liked the whole aspect of the stage where you had to destroy the barriers leading to the exit, that was super neat!! Overall an incredibly fun and creative level!
mick = Agh... Wow... this level is really brutal, like, really really really brutal. I honestly will admit that my heart sank when I first saw there were Force Beams in here, and then it just kept going. This is easily the single most brutal level in here, and its... I really didn't enjoy it, I really truly didn't. It felt frustrating to get through, like some kind of slog, especially since there was no way to guarantee that you didn't just waste a ton of energy on a dead end. Also took entirely too long to pull off.
Eventually, I just looked at the playthrough you posted on Youtube, and it honestly made me somewhat glad I chose to give up, as I would have only been more disappointed at the boss, so to speak.
}}
Easter Eggs
Flashman85 has a well-documented dislike of Sniper Joes, particularly after playing numerous fangames that reuse the same few types of Joes in the same few ways. To that end, the Sniper Joe on the screen with the laser emitters can be unceremoniously disposed of by using Thunder Wool to destroy the platform underneath it. A similar approach may be used at the end of the level, where Returning Sniper Joes are being mass-produced: using Solar Blaze to destroy the ice blocks will drop the Joes into the junk heap below, where they belong. Flashman85's utter disdain for enemies popping out of pits is also well documented, so it is only fitting that some Up'n'Downs have made a home in the junk pile...just far enough out of range to not be a nuisance.

There is one additional screen to the right of the Energy Element, which players are unlikely to discover due to programming changes between the devkit and the release version of the game. After collecting an Energy Element in the release version, Mega Man stands still for a moment before teleporting away; in the devkit, Mega Man automatically walks right for a few moments before teleporting away, similar to how Mario continues walking after crossing a finish line in Super Mario World. The end of Maze of Death is designed so that Mega Man can collect the Energy Element, proceed to the next screen, and march off the edge of a platform into apparent oblivion. Just as the player starts to panic, Mega Man teleports away, with a celebratory Victory Fish appearing to simultaneously panic the player further and pat the player on the back for a job well done.

Strategy
At the start of the level, you get 7 lives. The first dangerous screen of the level should show you what the level is all about: Jumping up while avoiding Force Beams. The second screen has a Magnet Machine that will help you avoid them. In the third screen, a Fan Fiend will help you try to outrun the force beams. The Black Hole Bomb also helps. After that is a checkpoint with more lives. In order to get through the fourth screen, you must quickly shoot a Spine and speed past the Force Beams. The Black Hole Bomb is helpful here. After that, you have to jump up platforms from Plant Man's stage with Force Beams. Then you reach a room with a Pelicanu and the energy element.
There's safe zones in every screen at the start and end so you can watch the pattern, then scroll it off screen and restart the pattern so you can try it, and there are no sections where something shows up that you didn't notice. For anybody who's not ready for the bad times upcoming, you should try Black Hole Bomb on the lasers. These costumes are not included in the main game but can be downloaded and added to the shop. Custom Costumes are unlocked after collecting 100 Noble Nickels. They returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered, where you are able to get the feature unlocked at Roll's shop for only 200 bolts.
How to Add a Custom Costume
# In the game folder, locate the "skins" folder (or "Costumes" folder on the MaGMML1 Remastered game folder). If this folder doesn't exist, you can create it yourself, or go into the skin select menu in game (it’s Roll's mirror in the costume shop).
#* For Windows users, the skin folder should be located in the filepath C:\Users\(Your username on your computer)\AppData\Local\MAGMML2_MAIN_GAME
#* Alternatively, users can place the skins folder on the same folder where the game is located.
# Click on the file to download the costume you'd like to use.
# Place the file into the skins folder.
# Head into Roll's costume shop and press up in front of the mirror, you should see your skin listed in the menu!
How to Convert MaGMML2 Skins Into Use for MaGMML1 Remastered
For Windows
# You'll need Python installed into your computer, download the latest stable Python build in their official website here: https://www.python.org/downloads/ , if your computer has Python installed already, you may skip the first two steps.
# When installing using their Executable Installer, check the box that says "Add Python to PATH", this will allow Python to be run in Command prompt.
# Open up Command prompt (you can do so through opening up Start menu, then searching "cmd"), type "python -m pip install pillow" and press Enter to install the PIL module required to run the script.
# In the MaGMML1 Remastered game folder, locate the folder "Costumes", inside is where you put your 1R spritesheets for use ingame, there is also a folder called "Tools".
There are some... issues with the level to the right of me.
City War is the 19th place entry in Make a Good Mega Man Level. It was one of the last entries submitted to the contest, which, being heavily rushed, makes it a prime example of "Test your Levels before sending them in". Due to qazcake's Game Maker settings deleting certain blocks, the level had a myriad of collision issues and missing blocks, rendering the level almost unplayable. It is the only skippable level in the original Make a Good Mega Man Level game. It also has the infamous distinction of being the least favourite stage of 4 of the 5 Judges, a record that is not likely to be broken anytime soon.
Strategy
This level requires special weapons in order to bypass a lot of the challenges. There are also no checkpoints in this stage and the only way to progress is to understand the rules of the level.<br>

The enemy challenges in this level, outside of the Sniper Armour, are the least of your worries in this stage. Paying careful attention to where an enemy is standing should allow you to bypass most of the holes. You will also be relying on Rush Jet constantly, which is the other major worry in this level. Memorising what is and isn't solid elsewhere is also a must.

You need Rush Jet to clear the final segment of the level, as there are several gaps too wide for Mega Man to cross.

Skip Status
This level was deemed skippable by the judges, due to it being virtually unplayable thanks to the missing collision areas.

This infamous level is included as a hidden level; you can access it by pressing up at the City War arcade cabinet in the Tier 5 hub. Unlike the original level, the invisible ladders are visible this time, but the invisible holes remain. This version is significantly easier thanks to Super Arrow being in your arsenal as well as a less problematic Rush Jet. Also unlike the original, this version is not skippable.

Additionally, the 21st-place level City Under Siege was envisioned as an improved version of City War.

Trivia
* The image in Pyro's review for this stage is represented by an imgur link in the original MaGMML due to the engine used for judge comments not supporting images. This was fixed in the remake.
* According to Duvi0's score breakdowns, this stage was originally supposed to be his least favorite stage as well, but it was changed to Chroma Key due to conflict.
* According to SnoruntPyro, the only reason City War was included in MaGMML2 was because a recreation of it was made as a joke during the devkit's development, and she decided to include it in the final game because "why not".
