Sakrets is an enemy from Mega Man 9. It is a wheeled cannon robot that scales walls.
Sakrets was first made available with the Megamix Engine, and subsequently the devkits for all games using it. The first game it appeared in was Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, where it appeared in Forgotten Fortress: The Lab. It went unused in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, but a Sakrets still appears as an NPC onboard the SS Elroy; when spoken to, it will provide random hints to the locations of secret areas in certain levels.
Sakrets returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, and appeared in the entries Creatively Named Level, House of Fun, and Gravity Wumbo, as well as the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Four Steps" and "Masquerade Ball".

Behavior
Sakrets moves up and down within a certain range, changing directions when reaching the limits of said range or coming into contact with a floor or ceiling. Every so often, it shoots a large flashing ball that slows down, stops, then explodes into a six-way spreadshot after a short while. Shooting this ball will cause the spreadshot to appear sooner, but reflecting it with a shield (such as the Water Shield) will prevent it from ever appearing. Though Sakrets are intended to be placed on walls, they can function even without one.
Sakrets have two creation code variables that affect their functionality:
- col - Affects the colour of a Sakrets' sprite (0 = green (default), 1 = blue).
- range - The maximum number of pixels away from its starting position that a Sakrets can be (by default, this is set to 64).
