If [[Mega Man]] shoots or jumps on them, they will develop large cracks; shooting/jumping on them again will cause the block to shatter. Other entities, such as enemies and bosses, can similarly break Chill Man Blocks, and some weapons (like a Charge Shot or the [[Magnetic Shockwave]]) can break them with a single shot.
